On November 8, 2019, Hulu add the the English dub of Episode one part 1 of Gintama, before the full dub got release on December 1, 2019, part 2 was not added at that time, The first episode part 1 of the Gintama dub was on Hulu for few days before it was remove on November 15, 2019. 12 additional episodes were added weekly. Crunchyroll began streaming the English dub of the first 12 episodes of the series on February 1, 2017. The first two seasons of the Gintama series were initially licensed by Sentai Filmworks, which released the first season across 4 volumes from Apto February 22, 2011.
